Regatta retail framework

Regatta Great Outdoors operates over 60 retail stores throughout the UK, with the growing range available through retail partners in the UK, Europe, and more than 50 countries globally. Regatta is known for affordable outdoor wear for all occasions from workwear to weekends and for all family members, even offering a range of petwear.

The ever-expanding ranges needed a more adaptable design for merchandising and point of sale - something to enable consistent branding across all stores and outlets.

Brand framework

We recommended developing a framework, something the brand could own and be recognised for. It needed to feel authentic, like it had always been part of the brand, so our solution used the Regatta logo as the starting point.

We cropped into it to give a fluid shape which could be used at any size, on any format. A colour palette for commodities was also developed to versatility with consistency..

The framework was to work across a wide range of store POS, seasonal promotions and product labels for clothing, backpacks and accessories. These materials needed to describe technical features, offers or multilingual information, so we enabled this versatility and developed a clear, simple international iconography.

We also assisted Regatta launch their Drop Shipment offer, as well as developing the Visual merchandising guide.
